Island View. A place where you can enjoy a warm and friendly "home from home" atmosphere.

Island View

We are open all year round and have recently refurbished the property to a high standard. There are now seven bedrooms with a wooden chalet in the grounds, plus two new conservatories.

One conservatory is an extension of the dining room overlooking the garden and enjoys views across open countryside towards the sea. The other acts as the entrance from the car park at the front.

We have a new fitted kitchen from which we serve your meals whilst chatting about your plans for the day. Outside of the busy times it is possible to use the kitchen for quick and light cooking.

The Blue Bedroom

Outside is a large lawned area which is ideal for camping with space for about 20 campers leaving room for a barbecue and picnic area. You can even use the washing line for towels, wetsuits etc. There is a good sized car park and a garage for storing bikes, surfboards, and the like.

Sennen Cove

We provide an excellent base for those interested in outdoor activities- surfing, diving, climbing, biking, bird-watching, horse riding, hiking, sunbathing, sightseeing or just chilling out. We can help to arrange activities in the area too, even down to helping with bus times for you to explore the area, taking a day trip to the Isles of Scilly, some 28 miles off shore, or visiting local attractions like Lands' End or St Michaels Mount. Theres plenty to see and do at any time of the year from a calm summer's day with gentle cooling sea breezes to the depths of winter with huge waves crashing into the coastline. At any time you will take home memories to treasure.

The Purple Bedroom

Cornwall's not just a great summer destination; out of season here at Island View you can get away from it all. Whether it be to relax, write a book, or just have some time and space to yourself the area offers year round inspiration and we provide a comfortable environment where you can switch off, unwind and recharge those batteries. Autumn and springtime are particularly beautiful in the clear air whilst in the wintertime the rugged beauty of the landscape is at its most dramatic. December through to the new year brings the Mousehole christmas lights- a spectacular display across the harbour. Tom Bawcock's Eve is December 23rd in Mousehole with its traditional Stargazey Pie. There are plenty of New Year celebrations in the area with St Ives really knowing how to party and, with advance notice, taxis can be arranged. Cornish Daffodils usually start to appear from January onwards, followed by the primroses and bluebells, ensuring that the land is colourful at any time of year.
